ST. BENEDICT'S EMERGENCY SHELTER FOR MEN - BED SPONSORS
(Owensboro) is in need of bed sponsors. Bed sponsors made it possible for the shelter to aid 460 men last year with laundry facilities, hot meals and a warm bed. These men also received life skill classes and assistance with mental illness or substance abuse. In 2017, 48 men were able to find permanent housing while 10 transitioned into independence. Two regular transitional homes and a Veteran's transitional house were opened this year. All of this is possible because of bed sponsors. Consider donating $500 to sponsor a bed this year for one of the men at the shelter. All donations are tax deductible and can be made online at stbenedictsowensboro.org/donate or call (270) 541-1003 or mail a check to 1001 W. 7th St, Owensboro KY 42301
