MEN'S LENTEN DISCERNMENT RETREAT
The Men's Lenten Discernment Retreat is a retreat for men ages 18-30 who are seriously thinking about their vocation and who have the desire to courageously give their lives to Christ. This retreat is an opportunity to set some time out in silence to listen to the voice of God in your life; receive guidance for the discernment process; learn the tools of discernment and sharpen your discerning skills. There will be time for prayer, reflection and rest. The Men's Discernment Retreat will be held on March 23-25 (Palm Sunday Weekend) at St. Meinrad Seminary and School of Theology. There is no cost to attend but registration is necessary. Registration deadline is March 19th.

The Diocesan Chrism Mass - The oils to be used in the sacraments during the year are blessed and distributed by the Bishop to the parishes throughout the Diocese. The Oil of the Sick and the Oil of the Catechumens are blessed while the Sacred Chrism used during baptism, confirmation and Holy Orders is consecrated by the Bishop. Tuesday, March 27th at 6:30pm at the Owensboro Sportscenter.

Good Friday Blood Drive - Knights of Columbus Council #10725 will sponsor a Blood Drive here at Precious Blood on Friday March 30th from 10:00am - 2:00pm in the Parish Hall. All donors must be at least 17 years old or be 16 with parental consent, donor must weigh at least 110 pounds, donor must check medications with center staff, donor should have eaten a good meal prior to donation, and must allow 56 days between donations. Donor gets a free T-Shirt.
Easter Egg Hunt - The Family/Social Life Committee will have our Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 31st starting at noon here on the church grounds for children preschool through 3rd grade. Don't forget to bring your basket! (Rain or shine)
MARRIED COUPLES RETREAT
Registration is open for the "Encountering the Gift of Marriage" marriage retreat, which takes place the weekend of April 13-15 at Kenlake State Resort Lodge in Hardin, Ky. Would you like to learn how to be a BETTER LEADER? Young people (who have completed their freshman year of high school or who just graduated). The Diocesan Youth Ministry Office is sponsoring Christian Leadership Institute (CLI) June 10-15, 2018 at the Mount St. Joseph Retreat Center. If you are or would like to be a youth leader; woiuld like to serve on a retreat team; are a class officer or student council member, CLI is for you. You will learn and use skills in leadership, communication, planning and decision-making through the lens of missionary discipleship. You will also help plan prayer and liturgical celebrations.
